Tennis Court Construction Modimolle
Demand for tennis court construction across Modimolle continues to grow, as private homeowners, schools, sporting clubs, and councils invest in quality outdoor facilities.
More South Africans are appreciating the lasting value and enjoyment that a professionally built tennis court provides. With increasing focus on outdoor recreation and community well-being, well-constructed tennis courts are becoming an integral part of both urban and regional infrastructure.
Tennis Court Maintenance Modimolle
Proper design and maintenance of the area surrounding the court are crucial to preventing contamination from various sources: players, vegetation, wind, and animals.
When a Court exhibits signs of significant compaction, debris accumulation, or permeability issues, it’s time for a deep cleaning.
Periodically, it’s important to check for compaction of the infill, especially in areas that experience heavy use. Compaction can affect the surface’s performance, leading to uneven play.
Tennis Court Resurfacing and Repairs Modimolle
Tennis court resurfacing relies on ensuring that the foundations of your tennis court are secure and solid. We work with a number of tried and tested surfaces that ensure your Tennis Court remains a pleasure to play on for years to come.
We can talk you through the different surfaces available, arrange a site survey and present you with a realistic quote to get you back on court and playing tennis.
Please remember if the old base has not been constructed properly it may be foolish to install a quality new surface without rectifying the initial problems.
Certified Tennis Court Builders Modimolle
When you are looking for a tennis court builder you need to be assured that the company you choose can build you a court that will remain stable, look good, require low maintenance and last. As a successful builder of courts, we have taken our 20 years of experience to create this list of things you should know and things you should look for when choosing a court builder:
- No surface is maintenance free, however correct planning and choice of surface may allow more play time and less work time.
- When designing a tennis court, it is essential to consider not only site orientation but also the physical features of the residence etc.
- Whilst the size of the tennis court enclosure can vary greatly, the playing lines are a fixed dimension.
- State-wide planning schemes may allow for lighting of your tennis court “as- a- right’
- Environmental lighting systems now ‘spill’ little or no light into adjoining property. You get what you pay for.
Tennis court lighting in Modimolle
With concerns about “Light Pollution” councils have now enforced strict lighting controls to inhibit light spillage. We at NexGen Sport Surfaces have developed the top-quality lights that whilst meeting the strictest council requirements also gives you the best light levels on the court. In keeping with our desire to present a spectacular looking court we can use architecturally curved outreach arms to soften the overall appearance.
Tennis court lighting in Modimolle have come a long way since the original quartz halogen spotlights, that were constantly requiring replacement whilst only providing a low-level yellow illuminance. Flood lights for tennis courts then moved to adopt the metal halide system of lighting.
Lighting and energy designs are constantly changing. With ever increasing cost of power consumption there is an inevitable push to install LED tennis court lights. We have been at the forefront of such changes and are able to offer the State-of the Art LED ‘Blade type’ lighting design.
Budget driven projects have seen some very poor quality imported open flood lights used to light tennis courts. These fittings may have been designed for use on car park and the like but struggle to provide a uniform and high luminance required to play tennis under. These light fittings have not been designed to contain the light spillage and may be in contravention of council planning laws.
Ask our team member to arrange for a specific design to illustrate the blade superiority. NexGen Sport Surfaces can also design the appropriate light tower and footing relevant to your specific site. Tennis Court Construction Koster.
